Julie Czeck, Government of British Columbia
Julie Czeck, Senior Domestic Violence Analyst: Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), and is in the process of completing her Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution at the University of Victoria (UVIC). Her professional accomplishments include conducting research for UFV’s Centre for Safe Schools and Communities, Centre for Public Safety and Criminal Justice Research, and Centre for Social Responsibility. Additionally, through her work with the Global Development Institute, she travelled to Vietnam as part of a team to evaluate the effectiveness of reintegration programs for young offenders. These roles afforded her the opportunity to contribute to several publications. Julie has worked for Abbotsford Restorative Justice as a Program Coordinator/Mediator, and as a Junior Analyst for the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development branch in Ottawa. Julie’s knowledge of youth issues, restorative justice, global development and research brings a fresh perspective that enhances the strategic work of the Provincial Office of Domestic Violence. Julie joined PODV in 2015.
