Today the British Columbia Coroners Service released the latest report from the Death Review Panel. The Panel reviewed 75 fatal intimate partner violence incidents that occurred between 2010 and 2015 and resulted in 100 deaths. Three key areas to reduce intimate partner violence deaths were identified from the reviews: 1) intimate partner violence awareness and education; 2) collaborative safety planning and case management; and 3) data access, quality and information sharing.
