Violence is Everyone's Business: PATHS Conference - May 17 & 18, 2016

The Provincial Association of Transition Houses and Services (PATHS) is holding a 2016 Conference: Violence is Everyone’s Business

The conference is in Regina, Saskatchewan on May 17 & 18, 2016.

Keynote speakers include:

Cherry Smiley, Artist and Feminist Activist "Aboriginal Women, Colonialism, and the Sex Industry: Making the Connections"

Barb MacQuarrie, Community Director of the Centre for Research and Education on Violence Against Women and Children "The Impact of Intimate Partner Violence in the Workplace"

A concurrent workshop on the Canadian Domestic Homicide Prevention Initiative with Vulnerable Populations (CDHPIVP), a Social Sciences Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) funded project to conduct research on domestic homicides in Canada, will be facilitated by Jordan Fairbairn, a member of the CDHPIVP Management Team.
