Alana Glecia, University of Saskatchewan
Alana Glecia is an Indigenous Masters student in the University of Saskatchewan’s Sociology program. Her research focuses primarily on Indigenous justice and justice issues, resiliency, and state-sanctioned violence. She has worked with organizations such as the Saskatoon Sexual Assault and Information Centre and Elizabeth Fry Society. She hopes to combine her Indigenous ways of knowing with her Western academia experience to examine issues facing Indigenous communities using Two-Eyed seeing.
