Amy S. FitzGerald is the Interim Executive Director and Director of Training & Programs at the BC Society of Transition Houses.  Amy has been a public interest lawyer in the US for over 20 years. For 13 years, she served as an Assistant Attorney General (AAG) at the Vermont Attorney General's Office, Criminal Division, where she worked on unsolved homicides and was the domestic violence AAG focusing on policy, litigation, legislative and training issues. At the Attorney General’s Office, she was the founding chair of Vermont’s Domestic Violence Fatality Review Commission and served on Vermont’s Child Fatality Review Team. Previously, she also worked as a Legal Aid lawyer and Public Defender in Vermont and NYC. Contact Information: amy@bcsth.ca.
