Deborah Sinclair is a senior social worker, consultant, trainer, writer and community organizer in independent practice in Toronto, Ontario. She has a clinical practice specializing in work with trauma survivors, their families and their allies.
For the past 28 years, she has been actively involved in addressing the issue of violence against women and their children with professional and grass roots community advocacy groups across Canada. In October 2002, she testified as an expert witness at the inquest into the murder of Gillian Hadley and suicide of Ralph Hadley. In January 2003, she was appointed to the Domestic Violence Death Review Committee (DVDRC).
