Diane Crocker, Saint Mary’s University
Dr. Diane Crocker is a Professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at Saint Mary’s University where she teaches research methods and feminist criminology. Her research areas include restorative justice, violence against women, criminal harassment and the use of law to address social problems, particularly those that disproportionately affect women. For several years she worked as the Research Methods Co-ordinator with the Nova Scotia Restorative Justice- Community University Research Alliance. Most recently she has completed an evaluation of the domestic violence court in Nova Scotia and is developing a new project relating to “rape culture” on university campuses.
