Olivia Peters, University of Manitoba
Olivia is an Honours student in the Criminology program at the University of Manitoba, minoring in Family Social Sciences. Thus far her research has primarily focused on Indigenous overrepresentation in Canadian criminal justice institutions as well as reintegration of Indigenous offenders. Her other areas of research interest include social welfare policy analysis, problem-oriented policing, and child apprehension from violent households.
Olivia is currently working with RESOLVE, a tri-provincial research centre on Interpersonal Violence, as a research assistant for Dr. Jane Ursel for the Canadian Domestic Homicide Prevention Initiative for Vulnerable Populations.
