Indigenous Healing and Trauma: Intergenerational Solutions RESOLVE Alberta and Awo Taan Research Day

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

RESOLVE Alberta partnered with the Awo Taan Healing Lodge to host their annual research day to showcase preventive measures and better ways to intervene to assist victims of violence and create meaningful societal change.  This years Research Day is titled Indigenous Healing and Trauma: Intergenerational Solutions and research topics will focus on (but are not limited to) success stories in the Indigenous communities.  

The Research Day takes place on October 4-5, 2016 at the Rozsa Centre, University of Calgary.

RESOLVE and the Awo Taan Healing Lodge are inviting academics, community organizations, justice and/or government officials/policy makers, and others to share their research initiatives and results.  Interested students and community members are also welcome.

To submit your research abstract, please fill out the abstract submission form and email to the RESOLVE Alberta Research Assistant, Nela Cosic at ncosic@ucalgary.ca by June 30, 2016.
